You crack me up Eric. How's the rule bending going in DM? You playing 20 guys in that league yet? Also, how many guys did the commishes have to offer contracts to for you because you went AWOL? Guess you should just release those players so they can enter free agency. Do you really think you're the GM to point to someone else as being a hypocrite? Pot, I'd like you to meet Kettle. Back to the topic. As I said in the original post, I'll talk with the other co-commishes and see what they want to do. I stand by that. I've fixed his lineup just as I'd fix any other GM's lineup who wasn't taking care of his team when injuries occur. I'm in just as much competition with him as the rest of the league and I have treated him as I would any other GM. I don't remember all the clamoring when it was the Wild last year who had a similar string of games and I had to do similar measures. People can be mad all they want but at the end of the day I sleep fine because I know that I've treated his team the same as I would any other. I'll say once again, I don't have time to check everyone's ice time except once a week. I checked it this past Saturday and there was only one player over. I posted it, contacted the GM, and rectified the situation. Simon's ice time was brought to my attention and before the next sim I had replaced the injured guys in his lineup. Prior to the injury, Simon hadn't had a single player who was over the ice time limit for more than a single game at a time and they were few and far between. If you would like to volunteer to check ice time once a week I'd love to have the help. Currently there are 2 GM's that notify me when they see players go over. They make it a habit to check the ice time of both teams as a course of their normal game review and if the guy went over vs. them they check his game logs and notify me if needed. |

Why is Simon in the league? I don't think I've ever had a single conversation with him. He just builds his team and leaves. |

Does he even build them? he just always starts with strong teams, makes a few tweaks and leaves. |

My two cents, take it or leave it: I can see giving someone a pass for one sim when the players are initially injured/suspended, but AWOL GM's who haven't checked their team shouldn't be excused. Most of us make arrangements for someone else to check on our team when we are out of town. |

Deus, just send me a PM and I'll get on it. Doan had an OT game in there so really only had 2 games. The rest I've posted and notified the GM's. Edited by Cap'n, Dec 18 2010, 04:02 PM.
